Model Selection Guide
Select a model according to the task: text-to-image generation, reference-image generation or image editing. The table compares reference-image support, editing capabilities and output settings.
Compare model features
Select by task
Text-to-image generation: Choose a model in the workspace and describe the subject, setting and style. Try the same prompt with another model to explore a different look.
Reference-image generation: Choose a model that supports reference images, upload your photo and describe what to keep or change.
Image editing: Choose a model with editing support, then select Continue editing on your image to change its background, lighting or composition.
Output settings
Choose an aspect ratio for where the image will appear: square for a product tile, portrait for a poster, or landscape for a banner. Available size and quality options appear after you select a model.
If you need a specific final size, check the downloaded file dimensions. You can keep exploring with a smaller image before choosing a larger output for the version you like.
Check the cost before generating
The Generate button shows the Credit cost for your selected model and settings. Review it before submitting; changing the resolution, quality or image count may change the cost.
Once your image is ready, download it or continue editing. Each submitted edit creates a new version and has its own displayed Credit cost.
